FAQ

COSMETIC TATTOO BROWS

Eyebrows play a major role framing our face. Having the wrong shape, density or colour can drastically change your appearance, which is why more women are designing the brows they’ve always desired using cosmetic tattooing. Whether you are looking for a natural powdered look or individual hair strokes, we can transform any brows to your desired look!

WHAT IS COSMETIC TATTOOING?

Also known as semi-permanent make-up or micro-pigmentation, cosmetic tattooing is the placement of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. You can swim, sleep, perspire, play sport and still look GREAT!

WHAT ARE NANO BROWS?

Nano brows is a semi-permanent tattoo technique, replacing the old-fashioned, harsh, block tattoo image. This specialised technique involves fine 'hair strokes' tattooed into the skin for a natural, hair-like finish. The appearance is completely natural looking and blends with or without hair along the brow bone. It is a semi-permanent solution for sparse, uneven or fair brows, or for those who just desire more definition and shape.

WHAT ARE COMBINATION BROWS?

Combination brows can be as natural or as defined as you desire! This specialised technique consists of nano brow hair strokes with additional dot-like, shadows tattooed into the skin for a soft, powdered finish. It is a semi-permanent solution for sparse, uneven or fair brows, or those who just desire more definition and shape.

DOES IT HURT?

Generally cosmetic tattooing is pain free. Everybody has a different pain threshold so some feel it more than others. A topical anaesthetic is used before and during the treatment to keep discomfort to a minimal. Any discomfort is short-lived when the long-term results are so apparent! The pain is far less than that associated with body tattooing as pigments are placed much shallower under the skin.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Unlike a normal tattoo, Cosmetic Tattooing uses pigment, not ink. It can therefore be customised to suit skin tone and hair colour, and isn’t permanent. This is ideal, as styles and personal preferences change, allowing you to evolve your brows over time. Depending on your skin type and how it holds the pigment, as well as how closely you follow your post-care instructions, the brow tattoo can last up to 24 months. This treatment is great for those wanting to spend less time on their makeup, get expert help in creating a more defined brow that last, or just try out the latest beauty treatment that is rapidly growing in popularity.

IS IT SAFE?

All pigments used during the treatments are made from the highest quality and consist of iron oxide, alcohol and water only. They are 100% natural, vegan-friendly ingredients and safe for penetration into the skin. All equipment and premises are kept clean and sterile at all times. Disposable, single use needles and hygiene requirements are used for each client. Hygiene is maintained and ensured throughout all procedures to QLD government and council regulations.
